Lauren Milton MSW, LSW
Lauren Milton received her Masters of Social Work degree from the IU School of Social Work. During her graduate program, Lauren served as co-chair of the social work board at the IU Student Outreach Clinic. At the IU SOC she worked to connect clients with needed services, provided trauma-informed care and harm reduction services, and worked to provide resources to clients impacted by racism, homophobia and transphobia, and other systemic issues.
Lauren believes that each individual is the expert on their own life and that every person’s lived experience is valuable. She wants to provide a safe and inclusive space for people to define and work toward what they determine is a full, beautiful life. Lauren has experience working with depression, anxiety, religious trauma, addiction, and abuse. She strives to be more anti-racist, intersectional, LGBTQIA+ affirming, neurodivergent affirming, disability justice oriented, and body positive/neutral. She is trained in ACT, CBT, DBT, and Brainspotting for trauma recovery.
