Resolutions: New Year, New You

At the beginning of the year, it has become a tradition to set New Year Resolutions: New Year, New You! The main ones typically are to lose weight, quit smoking, travel, or achieve a goal that you have been working towards. What about adding resolutions that makes you turn inward on yourself? Something that makes helps you out of your comfort zone.

I’ve added a few ideas that can help you become the person you want to be

-Focus on what makes you happy

-Trust yourself more

-Speak positive affirmations daily

-Love more and care less about what other people think

-Find your voice

-Make boundaries and hold yourself accountable to them

-Practice self-care daily

-Reserve time to work on goals

-Take chances

There are 365 days in a year. That means we have 365 days to work on being the person that we want to be. People start their New Year’s Resolutions with a bang and work hard on it for a month or so. For a lot of people, those resolutions can fall off. Don’t let that be you. You are in charge of your life and you are the author of your own story. Make this year be the year to not let yourself down.
